The Chamber of entrepreneurs tried to calm FEZ participants: instead of lost customs preferences, they will receive investment preferences
From January 2017 all businesses of FEZ are losing preferences - the abolition of customs duties and VAT. It is connected with the entry into the WTO and EAEU. In this regard, the Chamber of entrepreneurs gave explanations to entrepreneurs of FEZ.
The audience heard position of NCE:

"The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" is confident that customs exemptions to enterprises should be provided until the end of the FEZ, then they will be able to expand production, to increase the proportion of local content, localization and save jobs. Therefore, the issue of preservation of preferences for FEZ participants was repeatedly raised by NCE at various venues - with the participation of various ministries, associations and enterprises themselves. The work on development of alternative measures of support was conducted in conjunction with government agencies throughout the year. They considered various options, including subsidies on losses from paid import duties, subsidies on energy costs and other ", - noted experts of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of South Kazakhstan region at a meeting with heads of the enterprises of FEZ.

After such hard work, there reached an agreement: special investment contracts will provided as an alternative support measure, under which participants of FEZ can receive investment preferences. Thus, it will be possible to save the amount that entrepreneurs lose. To do this, participants FEZ must sign special investment contracts.
On the territory of FEZ "Ontustіk", there are 10 enterprises. All of them have invested heavily in the construction of factories, hoping solely on stable preferences. Now, to save investment preferences, all of them as soon as possible must conclude special investment contracts.
